JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Asheville Symphony is seeking friendly, reliable, and confident House Managers to join our Front-of-House team for the 2026–27 season. House Managers are the primary front-of-house leaders during Asheville Symphony performances, managing Event Staff and Volunteers to create a safe, welcoming, accessible, and organized experience for every patron. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced event environment, and can remain calm and solutions-oriented when the unexpected happens. House Managers work closely with Asheville Symphony staff, venue personnel, event staff, and volunteer ushers to coordinate concert operations and provide an exceptional patron experience.

The Asheville Symphony is seeking friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Event Staff to join our Front-of-House team for the 2026–27 season. Event Staff serve as front-of-house support personnel during Asheville Symphony performances, helping create a safe, welcoming, organized, and enjoyable experience for every patron.
Event Staff assist with a variety of concert-day operations, including venue setup and teardown, parking, ticket scanning, door monitoring, patron wayfinding, and general guest assistance. Working under the supervision of House Managers and the Patron Relations Department, Event Staff play an important role in ensuring smooth concert operations and an exceptional patron experience.
VOLUNTEER USHER
REPORTS TO: Patron Services & Communications Manager
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Asheville Symphony is seeking friendly, enthusiastic, and community-minded Volunteer Ushers to join our Front-of-House team for the 2026–27 season. Volunteers play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, accessible, and enjoyable experience for Asheville Symphony patrons.
Volunteers serve as ambassadors for the Asheville Symphony, assisting patrons before, during, and after performances with seating, wayfinding, accessibility, and general hospitality. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people, supporting the arts in their community, and experiencing Asheville Symphony performances!
