The Grammy-winning American Patchwork Quartet will work with members of the Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra in an intensive masterclass. They will delve into the diverse immigrant cultures that shaped the development of uniquely American musical styles through lessons utilizing polyrhythms, call and response, and critical listening.
