The Asheville Amadeus Festival comes to Brevard Music Center’s picturesque Parker Concert Hall for a delightful evening of Mostly Mozart featuring Mozart, Schubert, and Beethoven! Asheville Symphony Concertmaster Jason Posnock is joined on stage by fellow ASO and Brevard Artist Faculty members violist Jenny Kozoroz and flutist Dilshad Posnock, along with concert pianist Michael Chertock, BMC Opera alumnus Patrick Starke, and guest artist extraordinaire cellist Gabriel Martins. The program opens with Mozart’s irresistible D major Flute Quartet and continues with a touching song cycle by Schubert, followed by Beethoven’s celebrated Pathétique piano sonata. The concert concludes with Mozart’s G minor piano quartet, among the genius composer’s most dramatic and engaging chamber music works.
