The ASYO Percussion Program offers a dynamic and comprehensive experience for percussionists ready to grow as versatile, high-level musicians. Students perform in both large ensemble and chamber settings, exploring a wide range of percussion literature while developing the skills essential for success in a Youth Orchestra.
All percussionists audition for placement and are assigned to the appropriate Youth Orchestra based on musical demands. Participation in orchestra and percussion ensemble settings is coordinated to provide a cohesive and immersive training experience, with final placements determined by the Director of Percussion.
