This year, our biannual Porsche Raffle is back, with an exciting new prize. One lucky winner will take home a brand-new, upgraded 2027 Porsche Cayenne. With our change from the Macan S to the bigger and more powerful Cayenne, raffle tickets have seen a slight price increase to cover the additional cost. With only 999 tickets sold, the Asheville Symphony Porsche Raffle still offers the best odds for Porsche in the country.

But the Porsche is only part of the story. The Porsche Raffle helps provide vital support for the Asheville Symphony’s operations, making it possible for us to bring live orchestral music and music education to people throughout Western North Carolina. Each year, the Symphony reaches nearly 20,000 community members through its engagement and educational programs, including the Asheville Symphony Youth Orchestra and our new PLAY program, both of which bring hands-on educational opportunities to young people in our community.

Your raffle ticket is a chance to win something extraordinary, and to play a vital role in making all of this work possible. Whether you’ve entered the raffle before or this is your first time, I hope you will join us again this year. Tickets are $234 each. A $5 service fee will apply to all entries. The drawing will take place on December 18, 2026. NOTE: 660 tickets must be sold for the raffle to be held. This is a fundraising project and all ticket sales benefit the Asheville Symphony. 100% of add-on contributions to raffle ticket sales will go to the Asheville Symphony annual fund. The winner must complete all required tax documentation and sign a release of liability form before transfer of the vehicle title will be facilitated. The winner is responsible for all costs associated with transporting the vehicle. The Porsche Raffle is open only to those who are 18 years of age or older as of 12/18/26 and who possess a valid driver’s license. Tickets may be sold to employees, board members, and other affiliated persons. You need not be present to win. An independent accounting firm will supervise the entries and drawing.

Thank you for your support of our orchestra. The Asheville Symphony is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation registered in the State of North Carolina. Per IRS regulations, the cost of raffle tickets are not deductible as charitable contributions.

*The IRS now requires raffle winners to pay federal taxes on raffle winnings at the time of the award. The Asheville Symphony will pay to the IRS, on behalf of the winner, an amount equal to 31.58% of our cost of the vehicle. The tax must be paid not only on the fair market value of the winnings, but also on the tax itself, therefore a grossed up tax rate of 31.58% of the winnings. This may or may not be the actual amount you will owe on your federal taxes. Please consult your tax advisor concerning your specific situation. The Asheville Symphony will also pay any tariffs or duties on the purchase of the vehicle.
