THOMAS WOLFE AUDITORIUM
Darko Butorac, conductor
Zlatomir Fung, cello
Three thrilling classics for our November concert — we open with Glinka’s rousing overture from Ruslan and Lyudmila. We welcome cellist Zlatomir Fung for Lalo’s passionate and virtuosic masterpiece. The concert highlights Tchaikovsky’s 6th Symphony, his final testament and one of the most gripping and impassioned symphonic statements in the history of music.
