These powerhouse vocals will be brought to life by none other than the fabulous Capathia Jenkins, joined by a talented trio of backup singers. NYE: She’s got soul will take place in the Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville’s Arena. Seats are currently on sale for seating sections, with specific seats to follow.

The VIP experience includes a seat at a table for eight guests each feature complimentary wine and charcuterie with celebratory decor and premium orchestra views.

A Brooklyn-born actress and soul singer, Capathia Jenkins  is widely known for her outstanding performances on and off Broadway, having starred in several productions such as the Disney production of Newsies, The Civil War, Godspell, The Look of Love, and many more. She also performed in
(mis)Understanding Mammy: The Hattie McDaniel Story which earned her a Drama Desk nomination.

In addition to her impressive stage career, Capathia Jenkins is a highly sought-after concert artist. She has performed with various orchestras worldwide, including the Cleveland Orchestra, Houston Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, National Symphony, and Hong Kong Philharmonic.

She has also appeared on several popular  TV shows such as 30 Rock, The Practice, Law & Order SVU, The Sopranos, and Law & Order, and in the 2012 film Musical Chairs. Her voice can be heard on the film soundtracks for Nine, Chicago, and Legally Blonde 2.
