Pre-Concert Talks

All ticket holders to Masterworks performances are invited to join Asheville Symphony Music Director Darko Butorac one hour before the performance for a pre-concert talk. Learn about the history and details of the music that you won’t want to miss! Pre-concert talks are held in the First Baptist Church of Asheville Chapel, near the accessible entrance of the church. There is no additional cost to attend pre-concert talks.

Note: There will be no Thursday afternoon Symphony Talks held during the 2026-2027 season. However, all Masterworks concerts will have an associated pre-concert talk one hour before each performance.
